Mommy Makeup: My Go-To Routine

Hi, all! As I’ve mentioned before, I’m trying to get a routine down, and that involves some sort of skincare and makeup regimen. I am also the mommy of a two-year-old, who seemingly has radar when mommy tries to get up early enough to start said regimen.  What I put together has to be quick and easy, and my skincare and the following makeup routine only take me 15 minutes, tops.

All the products used in this look.

Face- I’ve been trying out a new foundation because lately, my beloved Ulta one has been making me break out. My skin tone is really hard to find a match for because I have a very yellow undertone in my light skin, but the closest I’ve found is Wet n Wild’s Photo Focus Foundation in Soft Ivory. It’s still a little light, but I fix it with a little bit of Wet n Wild’s MegaGlo Contouring palette in Dulce de Leche, on the “high points” of my face and a little down my neck. For my brows, I used the Wet n Wild Ultra Brow Pencil in Ash Brown, and I used my trusty Nyx Dark Circle Concealer in Light under my eyes. I used my Bare Minerals Correcting Concealer in Light 2 on any other discoloration. I’ve had it forever (I know, I know, it’s expired and probably harboring some sort of nasty bacteria), but I probably won’t ever buy a $22 concealer again.

The other day I bought a couple new Makeup Revolution palettes at Ulta, and got one free. For this look, I used the Fortune Favours the Brave palette and only used an ivory color all over and a camel color in the crease and outer edge. I then lined my upper lashes with Rimmel’s ScandalEyes waterproof eyeliner in Brown and used Wet n Wild’s Max Volume Mascara on my top lashes.

On my lips, I used Avon’s True Color Nourishing Lipstick in Peach Nectar, which is a perfect color for spring. I am, however, looking for a nice medium petal pink. Do you have one you love? Let me know.

Sorry about the lighting. I thought I had taken better photos, but apparently, this was the best one I got.

Do you have a “5 (or 10) minute face” routine? What do you use? Tell us in the comments!

As always, thanks for reading, and until next time!
