Since it’s already April, I’m going to share with you what I loved last month. These things run the gamut from stationary to entertainment. There aren’t too many because this past month was pretty hectic, but here are my March favorites.
The Greatest Showman
I freaking love this movie. As a lover of musicals (and Hugh Jackman), I had watched a few minutes and was actually BORED. I saw a YouTube video of a cover of the song “This is Me” and I loved it so much, I decided to give it another try. Hugh Jackman has solidified his position as the most talented man in the world, and Keala Settle (the bearded lady) is my new hero. I have been singing the songs NON-STOP since then. I made my wrestling-and-video game-loving husband watch it last Sunday. He probably hates me now.
The Throne of Glass Series (Sarah J. Maas)
My anxiety was through the roof in March, and one of the ways I deal with my anxiety is to launch myself into fantasy novels. My anxiety was so bad that I literally did nothing in my house and ended up reading 2 giant books in a week. I’ve been taking forever to read the one I’m on now (Heir of Fire), to the point that I needed to renew it.
Inkjoy Gel Pens
I know, I know, I’m a stationery nerd. But seriously, I have thrown out almost all my other pens. I hear they might not be that great for smearing if you’re left-handed, but I haven’t had an issue as a righty. I have four of the black and the 4-pack of assorted colors. I might get the 22-count, but we’ll see.
Our new kitchen cart
We picked this up for our kitchen because we don’t have a lot of storage or counter space. Cooking was a chore because I would have to prep on our kitchen table and then drag stuff over to the stove/oven. This is way better, especially since it came with a built in granite cutting board.
Amazon Prime and the Echo Dot
Back around Christmas, my husband thought it would be a great idea to pay for Amazon Prime. I didn’t think it was necessary, but it was a good call. I like knowing that whatever I order will be here in two days for free. We also ordered the Echo Dot, which I thought was pointless because our apartment is tiny. That was a good call too. I’m not utilizing it as much as I could, but I like when I have dirty hands and can tell it to change the song that’s on or add something to my shopping list.
