Hi everyone! Welcome to Blogmas Day 1! Today I’m going to share with you a recipe for a quick dip for your next holiday party: buffalo chicken dip. It always goes quickly at any party, and I actually make this dip and stuff crescent rolls with it. It’s pretty great. I don’t usually measure the buffalo sauce because it depends on who I’m feeding. I have some friends who aren’t too keen on spice, so I use less.
Buffalo Chicken Dip
1 chicken breast
Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce
1 bar cream cheese, softened
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup ranch dressing
1. In a medium saucepan, place chicken breasts in enough water to cover it. Add about ¼ cup of the buffalo sauce to the water to allow the chicken a little while longer to absorb the flavor of the sauce.
2. When the chicken is cooked through enough to shred, remove to a plate.
3. Cut up the chicken breast and add to a food processor along with the rest of the ingredients (buffalo sauce to taste. I usually use 1/3 of a cup).
That’s it! Serve it with crackers or chips, and you have a winner! You can warm it up in the microwave after, but it’s great at room temp, too!
Until tomorrow, friends!
